Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Mumbai (Sightseeing)
Upon arrival in Mumbai, meet our representative, after welcome proceed to the hotel. Mumbai is one of the 6th largest and populated Megacity of the world which is known as the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of India. The city is renowned for its vibrant lifestyle, which conceded as the city that never sleeps.
Check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Enjoy the nightlife of the colourful city, explore the Chowpatty beach and test the mouth-watering street foods. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in and Mumbai. Visit the Elephanta Caves, on Elephanta Island, transports you back 6th and 7th century centuries. The magnificent rock-cut carvings here are some of the most spectacular you will get to see anywhere.
The other visits of the day will be the Gateway of India, Juhu Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Marine Drive etc.Overnight stay.
Day 3 : Mumbai - Mangalore (By flight) - Bekal (By Road - 50 Kilometres) Sightseeing
After an early breakfast, proceed to the Mumbai airport to boards the flight to Mangalore. On arrival at Mangalore airport, drive to reach Bekal. It is the small town at Kasaragod district, renowned for its magnificent fort.
On reaching at Bekal, check- in at the hotel. Take a rest for a while. In the evening, explore Bekal Fort, the largest and a well-maintained fort in Kerala. It is located at the Arabian Sea. Visit the underground tunnels and the Observation. Overnight stay.
Day 4 : Bekal - Wayanad (By Road - 225 Kilometres) Sightseeing
After having the breakfast, drive to the rainforest region of Wayanad. On reaching at Wayanad, check in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, you will proceed for Chembra Peak, This is one of the most prime attraction of Wayanad. It is most popular among the adventure lovers, it is the main hub for trekking in Wayanad. It offers a distinctive character of Wayanad. It is the highest hill in Wayanad, which is located near Meppady. You can see the stunning view of the entire Wayanad from Chembra Peak.
You have to take a hike up the peak and on the way, you will find the gorgeous lake which is in a shape of a heart. After exploring the destination, return back to the hotel.

Day 5 : Wayanad Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit the Pookot Lake which this stunning lake is located at in the wooded hills of the Wayanad region. It one of the most popular picnic spot. It is fresh water lake, which is spread over 8.5 hectares. The main tourist attractions near lake are such as a children’s park, a fresh water aquarium as well as spices and handicrafts emporium.
You will be thrilled to see the Soojipara Falls This one of the most beautiful waterfall, located at Soochippara near Meppadi. The water flowing from about 100 to 300 feet height, surrounded by lush greenery. You can do water rafting, swimming, bathing here.
Further you go on to visit the Bansurasagar, it is located at the distance of about 15 kilometres away from Kalpetta. It is the India’s largest dam, built on Banasura Lake, on the foot hill of Banasura. It is one of the most popular picnic spot along with that you can also enjoy the boating here.
You also visit the Pakshipathalam and Meenmutty waterfalls, which are also equally beautiful. After a long day of adventure, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Wayanad - Calicut (By Road - 75 Kilometres) Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Kozhikhode (Calicut) by road. On arrival, move to your hotel. Check in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed for a half-day sightseeing of the city, you will cover the major attractions such as Mananchira containing the palace tank transformed into an architectural marvel, then visit Marine Life Aquarium, the jetties at Kozhikhode beach, apart from this also visitKappad, which is known as the place from which Vasco da Gama entered India. Stay overnight at Calicut.
Day 7 : Calicut - Cochin (By Road - 225 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Early morning, visit Dolphin's point where you can observe dolphins playing in the water. After breakfast, drive to Cochin (Kochi) by road.
Kochi is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most beautiful city of the state of Kerala.
On arrival at your pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 : Cochin - Thekkady (By Road - 185 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed for half day city tour where you are going to cover Kochi Fort for its European heritage, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis' Church, Dutch palace and the Jewish Synagogue.
Later, drive towards Thekkady. ,Thekkady is the small village located in the Idukki district in the state of Kerala. This place is renowned for largest and one of the oldest wildlife sanctuary ‘Periyar National Park’, which is the most popular tourist destination of Kerala. Thekkaddy offers the various trails of hills along with the picturesque environment along with the exotic aroma of spices spread across the region.
On arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : Thekkady Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for wildlife safari into the Periyar National Park. The sanctuary is surrounded with dense forest and grass lands. It is home of Indian tigers, elephants, lion tailed macaques, gaurs, deer, sambars apart from this 45 species of reptiles , 30 species of snakes, 13 lizard species. Enjoy boat ride on the Periyar Lake. While boating you may also spot wild boar, deer, monkeys, elephant, and various other species
Post lunch, cover the spice plantations. After exploring the Periyar National Park, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Thekkady - Kumarakom (By Road - 130 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom by road. Kumarakom is the one of the most popular tourist destination in Kerala. It is renowned for backwater, located on the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake of fresh water. The backwater fishing village is indeed a haven, and has had its attractions advertised by some stunning top end resorts by the side of Vembanad Lake.
In route enjoy the breath taking lush green surroundings. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and spend rest of the day in leisure. In the evening enjoy sunset while on a cruise in the lake. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 11 : Kumarakom (Houseboat)
Post breakfast. Drive towards the embarkation point to board your private Kettuvalloms, which is the traditional name for backwater houseboat. Enjoy the scenic landscape, paddy fields, villages and the coconut groves. Lunch and dinner will be served on-board. Stay overnight.
Day 12 : Arrive Tottapally - Quilon (By Road - 35 Kilometres) Sightseeing
After having breakfast on board. Disembark at Tottapally. Drive to drive to Quilon (Kollam), which is located 95 kilometres away from Alleppey. Kollam is one of the tiny and spectacular town, located on the bank of Ashtamudi Lake. It was ancient trading town for spices. It is known as cashew processing and coir manufacturing. It is the one of fourth most popular city of the state of Kerala. Ashtamudi Lake is the known as a gateway to the backwaters of Kerala. Kollam can be seen as sandwiched between the Arabian Sea and Ashtamudi Lake.
On reaching at Quilon, check in at your pre-booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit some popular attractions of the town such as Thevally Palace, Alumkadavu Boat Building Yard, Palaruvi Falls, Thangassery Beach etc. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 13 : Kollam - Varkala (By Road - 40 Kilometres)
Post breakfast, proceed to the beautiful beach town, Thangesseri. Visit the Portuguese and Dutch forts, ancient churches, built during the 18th century, it is spread over 3 kilometres long beach having more then 100-year old lighthouse. Late evening, proceed to Varkala, by road. Check into resort and spa. Stay overnight.
Day 14 : Varkala - Kovalam (By Road - 50 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Today after having your breakfast at the resort and then drive towards Kovalam, which is located at a distance of 50 kilometres. Kovalam is arguably Kerala’s most popular tourist destination. It is one of the most beautiful beach town located at the shore of Arabian Sea. Three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main attraction of Kovalam. The meaning of the Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees and as per the name this picturesque town along with the beaches are surrounded by coconut trees. Another enticing feature of the place are the Ayurveda centres cum resorts which can be found dotted around the beaches.
On reaching at Kovalam, check-in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the major attractions such as the lighthouse, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Halcyon Castle etc. Overnight stay.
Day 15 : Kovalam
Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of the town, visit popular beaches of Kovalam such as Lighthouse, Samudra and Hawa beach. Enjoy sunbathing, a leisure walk etc. Stay overnight.
Day 16 : Kovalam - Trivandrum (By Road - 16 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Today is the last day of the tour, after having an early breakfast, drive to Trivandrum. On arrival, begin the city excursion covering the prime tourist attractions such as the City Museum, Shri Chitra Art Gallery and PadmanabhaSwamy Temple.
